Attire: Siren's shirts and shorts with a patriotic theme.
Food/Beverage Provided: There will be potato chips and drinks available. Please eat a good hearty breakfast prior to coming to the staging area.
Notes: Parade Marshall is Vicki Glinski for this parade. Please see her if you have any questions, concerns, or medical issues. We will have minimal security for this parade so a couple of the Executive Board members will be acting as security for this parade.
We are # 73 in the line up and will be there approximately 9:30 with the float.
Children 8 and older are welcome to attend this parade. Attire is Sirens shirts and shorts or red,white & blue shirt and shorts. There will be some Progressive beads and IRVs to hand out. If children are under 12, will have to ride the float and will not be able to throw from the float per parade rules.
There will be snacks and drinks available. Please eat a good hearty breakfast prior to coming to the staging area.

Notes: Hotel reservations (Courtyard Marriott Downtown) - 2 night minimum stay required. Courtyard Marriott Downtown Amenities: Courtyard Café with healthy breakfast, cocktail bar in lobby, outdoor heated swimming pool, fitness center and whirlpool spa, two meeting rooms, room with spa-type whirlpool baths, complimentary in-room coffee & tea, complimentary high speed internet access, and The Market with sundries available is open 24/7. Monday, May 5th, 2009. Reservations will begin on a first come-first serve basis at Party Central. Credit cards of each guest are needed to hold the room. Wrist bands will be included with room keys. 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Friday night extravaganza includes: Pulled pork, hamburgers, macaroni salad, baked beans, grilled chicken, hot dogs, Cole slaw, and corn on the cob, chef selection dessert, iced tea or coffee. Dinner included in room price. Heated pool. Cash bar available. Note: Wrist bands will be needed for this party and included in the room price. Saturday, November 14, 2009 6:30 – 9:30 a.m. - Breakfast at hotel (Breakfast included in room price also). Cash bar available. Note: Wrist bands will be needed for this breakfast and provided. 8:00 -10:00 a.m. - Floats are located behind the hotel and available for last minute decorations at this time. 10:15 a.m. - Floats will move out. 11:00 a.m. - Parade starts -1 additional mile has been added to the parade route this year. 7:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Dinner and dancing will be held at the V.F.W. Post 2093, 4444 Edgewater Drive , Orlando , Florida . Dinner includes Carved Steam Ship Round Au Juice, Swedish Meatballs, Chicken/Shrimp Etoufe and basked Fish with lemon dill sauce, and various side vegetables, starches and salads. Karaoke is provided and live music inside and outside. Price of meal with transportation: $15.00 per adult; $8.00 for children 12 and under. Cash bar available. Wrist bands will be needed for this party. 7:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. – Transportation FREE-A round trip shuttle bus transportation is provided between the hotel and V.F.W. Sunday November 15, 2009 7:00 – 11:00 a.m. Optional-A hot buffet breakfast at $10.95 per person is available. Cash bar available. Directions to Hotel: From I-4 East Bound: Exit #83A ( Amelia Street ). Go straight to second light (Colonial Drive/SR 50) and make a right (get in left hand lane). Make a left onto Magnolia Avenue .
