Our 4th annual Think Pink Benefit will be held Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the TECO Plaza in downtown Tampa. The evening will include open bar, appetizers, dinner, chocolate fountains, raffle tickets and much more. The price is $60 per ticket, or $400 for a VIP table of 8 guests. Dozens of local businesses have pledged goods and services for the Silent Auction and various events of the evening. You can help us, too, by donating your goods or services to our evening. Just contact Karla at auctioncoordinator@sirenskrewe.org. All net proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer Research, including the Florida Suncoast Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The Sirens of the Golden Sabre is a Krewe of over 50 professional women, founded in 2001. We are a non-profit organization based in Hillsborough County, and are a member of the Tampa Bay InterKrewe Council. Our main goal is to excel in charitable endeavors throughout the community. In 2007, with the help of the Benefit, we were able to donate over $15,000, as well as countless volunteer hours, to the Florida Suncoast Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
This event is dear to all of our hearts, for we have several members of our Krewe family in the fight. Your participation in the event will help the Sirens of the Golden Sabre and so many others in their search for a cure - we know it is right around the corner!
